USDOT New Entrants

Whether you’re looking to apply for a new US DOT number or operating authority, it’s crucial to register your company properly. We will communicate directly with your insurance company and expedite the entire process.

Our clients also enlist in our expertise to properly prepare for their upcoming New Entrant Safety Audit.

New Entrant Safety Audit

We will guide you on the next steps of the process. The upcoming FMCSA New Entrant Safety Audit will verify your compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs). We prepare our clients for the audit, and prevent unfortunate circumstances such as unnecessary fines and out-of-service violations.

DOT Recordkeeping & File Management

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requires motor carriers to keep records and documentation for safety and compliance purposes. To ensure all files are up-to-date and accurate, we suggest servicing and updating our clients’ files monthly.

We will create, organize, and maintain your Driver Qualification Files with monthly service to satisfy your compliance and safety obligations.

We fulfill the obligations for each motor carrier by facilitating the Driver Annual Reviews, as described in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (49 CFR 391.25).

We follow-up on all DOT Recordable Accidents, and maintain an up-to-date Accident Register File for all our clients.

ELD & Hours-of-Service

We understand the nuances associated with the Hours-of-Service and Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs).

We will walk you through the buying-process, discuss solutions that control costs, and help with the implementation training. Sometimes, there’s a bit of uncertainty with ELDs, data subscriptions, and in-cab hardware. Fortunately, our on-site presence brings clarity to your unique business challenges.

Our ELD trainings are brand-generic and tailored to your operational environment.

FMCSA Web-Portal Management

Providing monthly oversight with your FMCSA Web-portal is another way we bring value to your organization. This includes CSA-monitoring, Recordable Accidents, and DataQ appeals. This service correlates directly with our Risk Management services.

DOT-Compliance Mock Audits

Take the time to audit yourself, strive for safety excellence, and avoid unnecessary penalties.

We believe achieving DOT-compliance requires a starting point. Our on-site assessment will identify any gaps in compliance and provide guidance on the appropriate corrective action planning. Our clients want to educate themselves on best-in-class protocols and implement a continuous improvement approach to fleet safety.

This project will entail an opening meeting with the appropriate office personnel, two-days on-site, a written report, and a closing meeting to review the results of the assessment.

CSA-Monitoring

CSA-Compliance has never been more critical to running a sustainable business. We will take a deep dive into your company’s CSA-scores, collaborate with your team, and provide guidance on the corrective actions needed.

We suggest monitoring your CSA-scores on a monthly basis, because the scoring system isn’t perfect. We will look for false data reported on your DOT-number and follow through in the Data Quality Appeal Process, also known as DataQ’s.
